Things I’ve learned……

1. Some people will not and don’t want to understand why you must insist on them treating your dolls carefully.
2. Dolls Fall Only To Spite You…..
3. It’s a really good idea to take detailed pictures of your dolls faceup if it’s a special one off.
4. Acrylic nails + Resin Skin = Strange Clear Marks
5.It’s nice to buy but even nicer to make.
7.BJD are not something to play “Keeping Up With The Jones” with. In other words don’t spend rent money on dolls or the postman won’t know where to deliver your doll. Just because x has a limited edition doesn’t mean you must get it too..Think!!!!

and finally magic number 8.

It’s okay to cry in frustration. Its okay to cry because you feel lost with your dolls. Its okay to cry because you want to be able to do something like someone else. Just Simply It’s okay to cry. Think of it as a learning experience. With every mistake you’ll come closer to perfection because you have discovered it’s flaws….

Prevention is better than a cure

In the Asian society, it’s all about preventing things instead of looking for cures for them. Brown spots, wrinkles, sagginess. In the west we’re all about solving them after they happen but by then it’s too late. People have seen you looking old and bad. Yor confidence has shot done and now your scrambling to regain what was lost. No! You have to stop that cycle! Take care of your body now so that others can look at you in awe at how good you look at age 50+. I know that I’d want to have nice legs to wear mini skirts when Im 50. In fact I’d want to be mistaken for 25 when Im 50 so invest in good products that prevent all these bad things. Your never too young to start. The skin you take care of when your 15 is the skin you inherit when your 30. Don’t skimp on Sun Block, SPF/UVA everything should be over 30. Using toning lotions, keep your skin supple and firm. Give your hair intensive treatments and stay away from chemicals and watch how lush your hair will be. If you want to do something funky use a wig or extensions, especially if you do it frequently, save yourself from disappointment later. I’ll talk more about all theses subjects in detail later but untill then, Care for your self now and you will always be beautiful.

Mika’s First Outfit! A Camisole Pattern from Film Flam and a Skirt by me. Also All my Girls get jewerly as a gift. Mika’s original Necklace went to Estelle and I don’t have the heart to take it from her but I had also gotton the Pearls for Mika so it balances out in the end.

Today is Mika’s Birthday…

Well her arival day really, but I like to think of the day that my children arival as their birthday.

But then again Mika’s not really my child. Not in that sense at least.

Mika is more like my partner in crime,

more like another side of me.

…The Fashionable and Dramatic side of me.

I have waited years for this moment to come.

Because of my enthusiasm, Volks was kind enough to send me all sorts of flyers and instructions as too how to properly take care of my little Muse. They ranged from how to put on makeup to how to how to sand seams and more.

But, enough of that lets get to the good part. The unvailing.

Shes so beautiful, I cried when I saw her at last.

For so many years she surrounded me with her spirit, guiding me, supporting me. It was also a bit strange to see her in person but I got over that quickly.

I’ve been bad. Usually I make clothes before hand for all my lovelies but for her I decided to wait till she came. Luckily she had her lacy slip dress.

I just can’t get over her beauty. The pictures on the site do no justice to her.

But no matter. I have her now in my arms and I’m never letting her go.
